    Chickasaw County Conservation Board manages 32 public areas totaling over 1,000 acres within the county, including 2 campgrounds; Split Rock Park and Airport Lake Park. Split Rock has electrical hookups, flush toilets and showers, a playground, horseshoe pits and sand volleyball court. Airport Lake Park has electrical hookups. Both campgrounds offer a swimming beach and fishing opportunity. Other parks with primitive camping include Chickasaw Park, Howard's Woods, Saude Park, and Twin Ponds. Twin Ponds Nature Center is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. M-F and the second Sunday of the month from 1-5 p.m. Public programs are offered once a month. The Seven Rivers Record newsletter is published quarterly.
