Ultherapy and Thermage help to tighten the skin but are more uncomfortable than Pelleve. Pelleve is a warm energy but not painful enough to require sedative medication or pain medication. Pelleve uses radiofrequency energy to deliver electromagnetically-induced heat in the dermis without affecting the epidermis. It can be done as one treatment, but there may be more improvement in some patients who need more work, with a series of monthly treatments for three or more.
