The Deer Park Lions Club was chartered in 1974. In its history, the club has worked diligently to serve those less fortunate in the Gamber-Smallwood areas of Carroll County. More than $270,000 has been given back to our community through our various service programs. We collect used eyeglasses and hearing aids for recycling in third-world countries and we loan hospital equipment such as shower stools, wheelchairs, walkers and canes. Additionally, our Lions have given thousands of man-hours of labor in service to our neighbors. Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month at the Deer Park UM Church located at the corner of Deer Park Road and Route 32. Membership is open to both men and women. You will not find a better civic organization than the Deer Park Lions Club; come and join us!
