The Howe Independent School District is an AA school district serving around 1,000 students in grades pre-kindergarten through twelve. Howe is located about sixty miles north of Dallas and twelve miles south of Sherman on Highway 75, in Grayson County. The school district totals 76 square miles. The district has one elementary school, one middle school and one high school.
